That’s a sweet pan I didn’t know they made one either
What’s the side bung for up behind the starter ? Almost looks like a turbo drain back location.? Or is it for dry sump?

It’s an oil drain back from my Eheads. The other side will have one as soon as we mock it up and see where we can put it...

Nice pan. I had them put in a provision for a dipstick on pass side and a 1/8" bung with baffle just below pan rail for vacuum fitting. I should have had them put in a oil return fitting just forgot to ask. They sent me some weld in bungs if I want to do it myself. But running High Ports so I do not think I need one.
I made my own oil pump pickup for a pump I enlarged to .915 on suction side. Did you buy the Steffs pickup ? Are you planning on running a gasket or just use The Right Stuff and no gasket like some do ? One thing I have done is buy I-Js teflon crank scrapper to add to it all. You can actually touch the crank with this scrapper. Kind of expensive at 230$ but if it gives me more power its worth it. I-J told me this scrapper can add 3, maybe 4% horsepower which is a lot if you think about it. A regular steel scrapper gets you 1-2% more horsepower he said. Aluminum block, she is going to be badd @$$. |

Nice looking pan.
Looks very similar to the pan I got from Moroso.

They will not have the built in crank scrapper like a Canton. But how close could you get a crank scrapper built into the pan anyway? Just put in a pan rail located crank scrapper on the kickout side and you have a better scrapper, clearanced right vs the Canton . I first called Canton but it was during Covid and the wait time was huge. Called Stan at Steffs and my pan took 3 weeks. Great to deal with. |

Yes, fits stock chassis A body. Mine was quoted to take 2 months but in actuality it was nearly a 3 month wait due to materials and labor issues.

69goat1 , Dragncar , thanks for the info . I made a kickout for the canton 452 pan and have the Teflon screen from Stef's, still working on it . Might just order the Stef's pan and save this one for a future project .
