Cold Case radiators
Shout out to cold case radiators I put one in my 66 over the winter couldn’t be happier. Had it out a few times over the weekend temps 85-90 and I wasn’t easy on it.

Me too. First thing I did on my car was to drop in the Antarctic package. Cold case rad, flowkooler clearanced, 160 tstat, clutch fan. Won’t get above 190 in 95 degree weather idling in traffic. Otherwise it’s 160 all day long.

And mind you, this was even with a massive exhaust restriction (found out recently that my heat riser valve was welded closed for some reason by a PO) - would explain the huge exhaust leak im still in the process of fixing as of a month now (broken bolts and I refuse to pull the head).

I’m running a pretty mild 455 with a stock water pump with stock fan and clutch setup also sealed up the shroud. Good to go.

In late 2020 I pulled the stock 301 out of my 1980 TA and replaced it with a Butler 461. The 301 had a small two core radiator, I replaced it with a cold Cold Case radiator and couldn’t be happier. I have a 180 degree thermostat and my EFI displays has never gone over 185, even in heavy slow moving traffic. I am running the stock 301 fan, clutch and shroud. I should mention I have not charged my AC yet, that will be the real test.
