AC part for 63
I am in need of an AC temp control valve for a 63. This is the part that has 2 springs on the outside the cable hooks to it. A buddy and I decided to "rebuild" it and it was under a little pressure. When we removed the 5 screws, BOOM and parts went everywhere. Now, I need an assembly guide. LOL

Assembly diagram
It would probably be very difficult to find another temperature regulation valve. It was under pressure because there are springs inside. If you have all of the pieces, you should try and put it back together. I have attached a diagram from my 62 Tempest HVAC manual that shows this valve. I took mine apart in 2005 and replaced the diaphragm with an NOS part. Other GM cars in the early 60's also used the same or similar valve.

Does anyone know of a company that rebuilds these Temperature Regulation Valves? I thought I had a company saved in my bookmarks but can't find it. Thanks!

Hey Jim, I can rebuild your temp reg valve. It would include a new diaphragm and all o-rings needed for A/C system. Below are pics of the last one I rebuilt.
