Default 73 firebird dimmer switch location

My footwells and firewall are covered in dynamat and now I can’t find the screw holes for the dimmer switch. IIRC the dimmer mounts overtop of the E brake cable? But how high up from the bottom of the footwell?

Great idea, but the old carpet is long gone.

I'm guessing '74 is the same as '73. Here's a picture.

Thanks, for the help.

It is farther over than I was looking and I did find the holes.
