Default 72 lemans sport convertible value?

talked to a guy yesterday. have seen the car for over 25 years. under a cover now but not sure for how long (looks like been a few years. said they had it running not long ago. has endura front end. yellow with white top and interior. says its a 350. had a maaco paint job put on it. overspray etc. endura has wrong type paint (cracking). didnt take cover off as its deteriorating. says he has a guy that was interested in it. gave him my number and told i have cash and could take it right away to try to light a fire under him. only saw it from body molding down. looks like had some repairs to bottom of passenger fender and lower 1/4. driver side was against fence. says has a/c but belt is off. another if it was a gto it would be worth type of thing. says make offer but i told him to give me a price and we go from there. any ideas of price range. could probably be a fair driver if brake/fuel system gone thru. thanks

Well since it's a 72, it's not a GTO. But, in great shape they can be big money. Your description is lacking good info to help appraise. Unfortunately it doesn't have the 400 in it. If it was in decent shape and running, up to $15k.
