Default 1970 Lemans Convertible body

Up for sale is a 70 Lemans convertible body shell only WITH convertible top mechanism, dash, steering column, doors, & decklid. This body has been off of it's frame for many years and up 3 feet in the air on blocks. Although the outside of the body is rusty, as shown in my pictures, it's just surface rust. This has been covered with new tarps every year since it was bought The firewall & cowl area is in really good shape, the floor has only a couple of small spots where it's rusted thru. The floor was undercoated from the factory and that's what preserved the floor boards. The doors are very useable and still have the lock mechanism in it. It does not have the window mechanism, the bottom of the doors are good. The drivers side quarter needs replacing and the passenger side looks good. BOTH wheel houses are in very good shape. The quarter panels still have the lip around the wheel house. The lower quarter panel extensions are in great shape. The tail panel is also in very good shape. The trunk does have some issues on the drivers side floor. The decklid needs replacing. The dash pad is cracked, but the faceplate is not cut, it still retains the convertible top switch,, speedometer with clock and idiot lights. The dash harness is there but in unknown condition. The glovebox & insert are there also. This body is located near Atlantic City, NJ and is accessible to look at. I am selling this for a buddy of mine and he said he bought the car years ago to make a show car. The body does not have a title, so it's as is. He also has NOS quarter panels, header panels, wheel opening moldings, too many parts to list. I took a bunch of pictures, but the forums only allow 5. If you PM me with your e-mail address, I can e-mail you all the pictures. He's looking for $1800 for it.
Mike
