According to Pontiac Chassis Parts Catalog published in Oct 66 the GM part number 1115202 (note the last 3 digits) is used on a 62-63 Tempest 4 cylinder
engines, 64-66 Tempest 6 cylinder engines and 55-57 except dual quad and 3-2 two barrel carbs. Correct part number for a 65 GTO coil is 1115207 (transistor ignition) or 1115134 (points ignition) . All Pontiac coils from 1948 thru 1966 are part number 1115xxx. I wouldn't bet my life that the last 3 digits being 202 was shorthand for 1115202, but I'd bet yours.
