How to weld outer lower quater to rocker second gen
Hi so what or how would somebody do this right? Once the inner and outer panels are installed, accessing the area of the car to weld is limited. Any thoughts?

I have a 67 convertible Camaro that needs a floor pan and some rocker work and these videos have been incredible for mentally preparing for the project.

Your pic looks like the RH side. I have your answer, but to make sure i'm looking at your pic correctly, can you post the same angle standing further back to get more of the car in the pic?
Is the pic I attached the same view? Was the new rocker cut out under the pillar?

Once again the WELDING GOD JON can do it one handed while holding a camera, drinking an orange dew and playing hacky sack with a red brick on his foot!!!! LOL love it!!!!

Yes this is the passenger side and I will be doing the other side eventually. I could see this be done before the roof is put on maybe. As you can see and know once all the pieces are installed, its very difficultto get inside to weld this.... Desko I have no idea what you are talking about

I just cut an access hole in the inner quarter, you can get right in there. Then weld it back up. Use weld through primer. Before you weld the flap spray the inside with the coating of your choice for corrosion resistance.

Nice that's easier then I was thinking. I was also thinking since I'm replacing the back seat panel and truck, was to remove those and install outer quater to weld then the inner. But either way thanks for your practical idea
