this eBay seller must get a LOT of static...
Based on the tone of the disclaimers in all of his listings, this eBay seller must get a LOT of static, but man oh man does he have some SUPER cool listings.
This one popped up today from one of my eBay alert emails (by the way, all the eBay alerts suck terribly - often the emailed listings have little to nothing to do with the search term). LINK I have attached a three of the twenty-seven images I made or saved from the listing for posterity. Is this eBay seller a member here? (or maybe he is, and wishes to remain anonymous?)

if past listings hadn't made it painfully obvious that he has some REALLY cool stuff, just the pictures from this listing should be sufficient.
The man must have had some connections! I for one enjoy oogling over his eBay listings. He should come over here - I would think that he could side-step ePay via this forum or yenko.net - unless I'm mistaken, for Pontiac guys, these are the two real go-to places for Pontiac guys to buy and sell.

Sad thing is this guy will die before his stash actually gets used.

Lance is a nice guy from my dealings with him. He helped me out with some ultra-rare RAV parts I needed for my build, such as the water pump pulley, 406 square coil, CDI box and harness, distributor, idle solenoid, and other miscellaneous RAV-only parts. We traded straight across some NOS RAIV stuff I had for the RAV parts I needed. Through our interactions, he told me he worked in the parts department for a Pontiac dealership in the late 70s through early 80s. He also mentioned that most of his paychecks went to buying parts every week.

He sounds like a way better man than me. If I worked in the parts department then I would have been taking parts "out with the trash" daily. Ha

Some people would say Dr. Jekyll, others Mr. Hyde. Working at a dealership parts dept. back in the day helped him a lot. Bought a few things from him years ago. Paid going prices.

If this guy really acquired these parts decades ago, one by one, and stocked them away for later sale or use that is an amazing story. I'm not saying he didn't do that. I'm just saying it's amazing. The foresight to do it. The timing, access, and resources to carry it out and the patience to see it through, that's amazing. Wow.

In our conversations, he also mentioned that he has enough NOS RAV parts to build two factory-correct engines.

Thanks for mentioning that. As you could see from my post, I had skipped over it. Pretty cool story.
