I'm pretty sure the block you have with no VIN is one I sold you. It's been maybe ten years ago.

It happens once in a while
That was mine. I even put muriatic acid the pad with no luck of the vin surfacing. I wasn't able to locate a vin stamp on the trans either. Dates on everything lined up with the car.
