I always thought the popo in this town were too afraid of the bikers but they are ridic loud.
I see the ricers getting all kinds of tickets for every infraction they can think of. My car is only loud when I get on her - doesn't have to be obnoxious to be fun.

A little bit of both but whenever I hop on a motorcycle, my nutcase self resurfaces 🤣
I drive old Wranglers and Pick Up trucks as dailies in order to stay out of trouble. Peter |

My wifes 2017 Camaro SS has the variable exhaust on it. She likes to play with other cars at lights. It is an LT1 and has 455 hp. It runs pretty well. It does not really pop when you back off. I think the newer years were noisier.

There seems to be a muffler shortage here in ABQ.

Let's not forget the folks who chopped their catalytic converter out and sold it and are running open exhaust. Like the neighbor down the street from me. He's been driving his old Explorer for years that way. Every day 5 or 6 trips to the store four blocks away.
I even offered to weld a piece of tubing in to fix it but he's all "No thanks, I don't want to owe you anything and I can't afford to pay you. " I couldn't get him to understand not having to hear his stupid Explorer all the time would be payment enough.

The young guys would rather rev and pop pop pop crackle, crackle crackle and blow some flames than just have a great sound it’s more of a show than anything. Yes it’s neat but gets old fast. We went to Milan on Wednesday T&T lots of popping and banging it’s a new world with SC and turbos. My buddy was like why do they do that l hate it. I did see one of the best sleepers I have ever seen a 2008ish Chrysler 300 rusty old looking stock wheels and tires 10.99 @ 125 I was impressed. Single turbo under the hood and except for it, it looked like a stock high mileage Hemi.
