I think it depends on the year. I was watching an auxtion the other day and they had a lot of transams and there they were going anywhere between 85K and a 150k, Fully restored pristine condition.

Hagerty recommended my 74SD at 100k. Unrestored original.

The one I'm interested is not a SD, it's a 1975 HO, which wasn't really much of an option,. The car is listed on FB, it's dark blue, burgundy interior with a 4 speed, it's only a few miles from my place, so it won't hurt to go look it over. Thanks!

'75's are usually a steal compared to the earlier 70-74's so definitely shop around.

75's can be a real deal - they have for as long as I can remember been the low point for the second gen run.

The 1975 '455 HO' package is quite cool, and rather rare;
It was a very late model year option - iirc there was only something like 867 or so of them built.

For 1976 the option was carried over, but the "HO" (as in the name of the option package (and the shaker call out) - which was confused with the 71-72 455HO engine at the time) was dropped, and nearly 7,000 were built - those cars get a LOT of attention compared to the 1975 cars - and they are the same package!

Quite likely one of few '70 Muncie three speed Formula 400's left.
