Default 67 LeMans Rear Gear Options

Hey guys.

Where can I find a break down of available options for a 67 LeMans?
Specifically looking for the rear end option info.

Thanks
Joe

Could you get a 326 2bbl with AC and an ST300 with a 3.55 limited slip?

Not with factory AC.
326 ST300 combo with factory AC should have a 2 something gearset at best.

My 1967 GTO with AC came with a 2.93 rear.

I figured 2.93 or 2.78 would’ve been correct
Thanks

Certain cars and engine combos got specific gears from the factory. My 67 with AC also came factory with 2.93's. It was my understanding you could order any available gear that you wanted.

Thanks guys

I found the code on the tube tonight. It started out as a 2.93 single track and has been upgraded to what appears to be 3.23 or 3.55 LS

That’s strange. It is a WC code axle and appears to be original to the car. Wallace has that listed as a ‘67 single track 2.93. The car is a 326 2bbl car originally with an ST300
