Looking for 70-73 front spoiler & flares
I’m really hoping to find a good used set here, original parts. Not happy with what I’ve heard about reproduction parts, with poor fit and quality.
Anyone have parts they’d like to sell, even fixer-uppers? My bodyman is very talented I’m sure he could repair cracks and even chunks missing. He did an amazing job on my tail panel! Car is already in finish paint, but I’m sure he can squeeze it back in the schedule to match. Man, is this car looking nice! I’ll post some pics on a new thread soon, leaving for a 3 week vacation tomorrow! Please let me know if you’ve got any suggestions. I’ve been monitoring EBay and Craigslist to no avail for months!

For what it's worth I found the reproduction ones offerred by Ames to be pretty good.

Thanks Peter, I’ll check into that more. I may end up going that route.
I’ve been sending them a lot of $ lately, been happy with their stuff so far.

I ordered the spoiler & flares from Ames, drop-ship to my body guys place.. I will update on the fit/finish once we’re back from vacation. It’ll be great to see the assembled vehicle when we get back from Italy!

So I’m still in Europe, but I heard from my body man, and he said that he can work with the Ames spoilers. At first he was a little negative about the ABS materials.
Now he has been working with a particular filler that he used on the endura nose to work out some of the.defects & he said they should work fine. I was happy to hear this! Once I get back, I’m going to work starting a post with my resto-mod project process with some pictures… long overdue!
