Dip stick tube in the block
I have a new dip stick tube I got from Butler. I'm getting ready to install it into the block. I'm pretty sure it installs from the bottom but my question is how do you know how far to insert it? Is there a measurement? Picture?

You drive it in until the end of the tube meets the inner wall of the block.
With a file or a bench grinder taper the leading edge of the tube and use a swipe of sealant as a lube.

Thanks for the advice, but I did already have the short block assembled. All I had to do is remove the number 3 main cap to get the clearance needed and tapped it right on in.
