Default 72 LeMans Fan Question

Hey guys,

My nephews 72 is running hot at 215 in 88° weather verified with infrared and the gauge and the Tstat os a new 180°. It is a mildly built low compression 350. I have not yet checked timing for him but this is a non air car using the standard 4 blade fan and two row radiator. His plan is to upgrade to a Cold Case but what fan should he use?

Thanks
Joe

He does have the factory shroud in place.
I told him the factory ac fan would be a good option

If the 2 core is in good shape, maybe the clutch fan will be enough?

Maybe the old radiator is plugged. Might need a good hot tank/flush.
