Default 1963 Pontiac Bonneville

1963 Pontiac Bonneville 2d hard top 389 4bbl backed by a th400

Very nice, clean body that appears to be all original paint.

Original 389 was freshened up with all new gaskets, .030 pistons/rings and bearings. Rear main was upgraded to a one piece seal from Tin Indian.
Transmission adapter (Butler performance) was used to put a rebuilt th400 behind the 389.
New drive shaft from A-1 drive shaft was installed.
New hi torque mini starter from Butler performance
New power steering pump
new belts/hoses
Scarebird Disk brake conversion done up front. New master, brake lines and hoses as needed to complete the disk brake conversion.
tail light sockets and bulbs are new.
Rims are original Crager G/T's.
Interior presents well, driver side of front bench could use some attention. Front bench is power.
all 6 windows are power, rear windows could use new motors, they go up and down slowly.
Speedo doesnt work, hasnt since I put the th400 in. The drive gear appears to be the wrong size. The square drive is smaller on the speedo cable than the square in the drive gear.
All other gauges work, has an accessory water temp gauge, so the green "cold" light stays on on the dash.
Frame is rock solid with no rust or rot anywhere. The rear right body mount in the trunk has some rust through. Trunk pan has some small spots of rust through, pin holes. A previous owner painted the inside of the trunk and it presents well.

Car has dual exhaust that was put on by a previous owner. Its an older install, but was done professionally. No leaks.

Front suspension/steering was recently greased and the car rides nicely as it should.

If you would like to inspect the car, I am able to put it on a lift for inspection. Nothing to hide on this car.

I have a clean title in my name, car is registered and has collector plates on it. Very few miles have been put on the car since the completion of the work listed above. I am selling because I bought another car that I will drive in place of this one. Ive owned the car for about 2 years.

I have a lot more photos than what I can post in the ad. I can text or email them if interested.

Price is 16,800 obo.

Couple updates, the trans pan was seeping, which is now fixed. Speedo is working. Its off by about 5mph at 45mph. Car was partially repainted at some point. Rear diff is a 3.08 gear. runs down the highway nicely.
