That was probably one of the Trans Am Territory gatherings put on by John Schinella (Pontiac designer) that they held at different race tracks, which brought out Trans Am's in full force, and of course the custom GMC Motorhome with the Trans Am Territory paint scheme. That could be Road America, but I'm not sure...

Nice pic. Interesting that someone would go to the trouble to make a Corvette look like a Bradley GT...lol

Wow! We are now over 100 pages since I started this! Thanks to all who have contributed.

Here is a great night shot. Cool, crisp air, the smell and sounds of nitromethane and header flames. Time to stage and run 200+!!!!

Yeah, that looks like something out of "The Sandlot", or the subdivision I grew-up in.

Saw a VW for sale the other day, and it had me envisioning the sixties and seventies, and driving a car with little heat and no AC.

I posted this in the OHC tech section, but felt it fit nicely over here as well.

Jeff - You reckon that was a real funeral car or is it a 70s van nod or something? Could go either way.

I'm a Pontiac fan, but I still think I'd be pretty pissed if my last ride was in a 6 cylinder Tempest.
