What color is the 455 HO call out on this 26 code blue car? I have both white and black, but not sure which is right.

I've only seen that in pics of what are probably restored ones, Gary thinks his original paint one has black call out but it's been too long since he's looked at it to be sure.

Grew up in the country; folks used to let me "practice driving" in our big side yard with a '69 Bug. Of course, "practicing driving" meant that I now had the go-kart that they never did buy me - lots of fishtailing, sliding sideways, etc. Think I totaled it on about the fourth trip out. D*amn tree jumped out in front of me!

I can relate. When my son was diaper age, he ran the length of a car I had just finished painting with a can of spray paint. Fortunately i caught it quick and was able to get it off. It was just an Aspen or something anyway.

It's not a 455 car, but I would think if it had one the 455H.O. would have followed suit with the GTO lettering...DW

This is the only picture of the car I have.

Black interior, Black lettering.

I'm pretty sure that's been confirmed on several cars - PM Pat Brown (PB) he should know.

Not a '70 expert by any means, but shouldn't the lettering also reflect exterior coloring??? Would seem crazy to have a dark exterior color with black lettering..Almost becomes invisible, no??

Guys, right or wrong I took the Boss’s advice.

Then I spent all night at the emergency room with a broken glass cut on the wrist….

The black looks fine but you gotta have it in the right place.

OH now you go and post this after I've stuck em, probably won't worry about this. Judge decals out of place drive me crazy, but I'm not sure this will bother me.
