The whole system will be gone by the time the snow flies! It's loud, it only has a very short pair of glasspacks for mufflers! It really rapps though!

I have a '67 GTO convt here at my house that I am doing some work on. It has a stock type exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and it sounds great. Again, it is a stock, numbers matching '67 400 (335 hp), that is completely stock, but it at least has a nice rumble.

A set of splitter tips are absolutely mandatory for the '64 and '65 cars.
The bigger the better! |

Anybody tried making their own splitters? Dont look like it would be that hard.

I built the 3" splitters along with the 3" exhaust system for my GTO, all out of 304 stainless steel.
Here's set of 2" 304 stainless splitters that I fabbed up for my '64 LeMans convertible: If you have the skills it's really not all that difficult, using stainless steel eliminates any need for plating. That being said, our sponsor PY sells some very reasonably priced splitters in many different tubing sizes and styles that can make life a lot easier. |

WOW! What a great find! Post more pix when you get a chance. You going to make it a driver, race car, or restore? Very nice.

Ive got the quarter window regulators in. All I had to do was drill where the dimples were from the factory. Need to make a new harness to connect everything together. Could use a wiring diagram if anyone has one, otherwise shouldnt be that hard to figure out. Looking at window felts(fuzzies), anybody know what ones are fitting best?

Finally found the before picture, after new tires and an exhaust system.
And the finished project.
