Made contact with family that owned my CP new. Turns out it has a true Puff Pedigree, ha. Husband bought 40ish woman car new in Portland OR. She did not use for job commuter, put 40K on over appx 20 years so 2K a year average. I talked to nephew now 75 who bought it when aunt in her 60's and outgrew the sporty car she called "her cute little car". "Nobody ever sat in the back seat". And "she never changed anything on it".

So you TA guys and Formula guys have stories of how your macho car was raced early in life, or the street terror of the town, or was a legend due to it's badness..... No, I have "cute little car"..... then the guy threw the final deflator of ego out: "it would have been collectable if it had the bigger engine". So a 75 year old non Poncho guy had the wisdom and insight of CP's that all of you experts have!

so Margery is looking down from above. She is happy I have her car. She is saying no effin way pull the "Esprit" emblems off, she liked them a lot. She says no scoops, spoilers, or flares. She says 14" rims stay. No chrome exhaust tips. I talked her into non visable drivetrain upgrades, reluctantly. She liked it as a cruiser.

I bet she was a hot 40ish stylin woman! Damn CP's though.............

You really need to DRIVE that car....BEFORE you execute the "creampuff engine".......I'd say....it's going to create some BAD karma...

Leave it the way it IS....and enjoy it.....I LOVE driving MINE....2bbl,single exhaust....and whitewalls...

Put your "big stove"...in another 70-73........find a "roach".....and build a 12 second Rat Rod.....

That's what I'd do.....JMO

Seems like there were a lot of CP's that were sold through the NW Oregon area that still survive today.
Could there be a Cream Puff Nationals brewing for next Summer here in the Northwest?

and in the left lane, qualifying with a dial in of 18.23, and we hear he has blueprinted the 350 within allowable Puff tolerances, with the legal bump in compression to 7.9 to 1, and the acid dipping the exhaust manifolds, we expect Puff Daddy De L'Angelique to possibly dip into the high 17's........ we hope the 75 series whitewalls can take the added torque...

Honey, I'm going to the Puff Nationals.......

That is probably HO Kenny. Ken & I both live in Cochrane AB.

And that Red cream puff of Ken's has been on Craigslist in Portland for weeks. I believe the car is at Ken's brother's place in OR.

Funny you should mention that.......

The same BIZARRE thought crossed my mind...about a month ago...

We might even be able to tie it in with one of the existing Pontiac meets in the Seattle area.....

I'm down for some "cream puffin' ".....

I guess we could have a separate class...for Creampuff wannabees....

You will need to cover up the VIN on the dash....with a card....

See Transamric for that.....he MAY have a spare...

Stumbled across this pic and no idea who it is,but it made me think how we need a grass roots effort here to add new members. Some new faces might be nice.

No Cream Puff jokes.

Cream Puff for sure.

Buy it now is a bit of an eye opener.

More pics here

Well, looks like somebody screwed up and busted this cream puff's cherry. The left front fender has a nice new dent and the BIN price has come down about $10K as a result. Check out the eighth picture and notice the difference in the ad copy where the new ad mentions the dent. What a shame. That was a creamy ride...I was thinking about dropping my 455HO and TH400 into this car.

Shame! Not so totally Creamy any more. More like "Half 'n Half".
Now begins the search for an NOS '71 only fender.

Anybody notice in the pictures from flickr account on page two the pictures with the mobile home in the background. The car has Quebec plates in one picture and the other picture it has New York plate. The other thing I notice is the oil change door sticker is dated 1971 and the dealer is Queen City Pontiac in Greenbrook NJ

There you go. One of the trophies from the Cream Puff Nationals could be in the Creamed Puff category.
