Nice bit of artwork, this is Syracuse NY. The trains used to go straight through the downtown area. No crossing gates for these beasts.

Adolf approves the new people's car, the Volkswagen. They're trying to figure out of a small block Chevy would fit.

When you're trying to impress a girl, and this happens, it's going to be a bad day..

Bad day at the race track...

Good day at the race track...

Bill Holm's post #213---I was at Irwindale when Arnie Beswick match-raced the factory sponsored Mercury Comet. I think the Comet driver was Don Nicholson. They presented Mercury an award that day for the "Best Engineered Funny Car". The next run, the body flew off. It wasn't pretty for Mercury, but I'll bet Arnie liked it!! I'm sure he still remembers that day. It was in January, 1966.

The Blue Angels, back when they F9F Cougars.

Howard Hughes's "Spruce Goose", still the largest wingspan to ever fly, even larger than the modern Airbus A380-800, An225, and 747.

My dad's old '69 or '70 Roadrunner 383 convertible

I believe this is my dad, probably around my age now, working on I think his Woody he had. At least this is what I assume.

My dad at I believe 18 and his friend working on the '33 Ford, which still looks the same today (except all together). I wish I could fix this photo, I accidentally spilled something near it and have no idea how to get those dots off.

I believe this to be my grandparent's house, probably around the time that they just got it.
