Those are some great pics. I got to see the Grand Canyon when I was doing some specialized training for the military and was really impressed by how pretty that area was. I did some rafting in WV on a class 3/4 river but only went twice. It was an awesome rush and the scenery is a bonus.

Greg,
They have a two day trip that I was planning on doing until I got hit by a DUI driver and messed my back up. Let me know if you want to go and I'll try to get my son as your guide.

Yeah, I figured that had to be what it was for but would never have guessed it was called that! Would love to shoot one of those some day.

Is the barrel rifled or smooth? If smooth, what kind of accuracy can you get out of it?

The one in the pic is a .45 cal with a rifled barrel....shoots a patched round ball very well.. I also have a 62 cal smoothbore rifle....it shoots a round ball or you can load it like a shot gun...kill mice and Moose with the same gun. I can keep 5 shots on a 9" pie plate @fifty yards ..offhand...with a patched round ball. Also a 62 cal = 20 gauge

Can you send me 4 pounds of yellow perch fillets? I sure miss hunting and fishing up in the wilds of the North.
We can't eat a thing out of the rivers and ponds down here in DE.

Yes they are crazy jumping out of the water and fight like hell! That one I tagged and let go. That was 30 miles off Montauk NY. My friend runs a charter boat, he tags some and keeps some to eat. One tag was returned from Johanisburg Africa that was caught off Montauk pt. They just swim and eat!!
