As if the fender flares weren't bad enough they put a SBC in for the final kick in the nuts

Low-option car other than the A/C. '65 steering wheel. Can't be an H.O. with a 4bbl (unless he's talking about block code).

Edelbrock intake and 400 style valve covers. I wouldn't be shocked to find that the engine had been changed. Good looking car though!

Never in my life would I have thought that was cool. That is the ugliest Firebird I have ever seen, hands down!

I agree it's ugly now, but when I was a teenager in the 70's, the wilder the car looked, the cooler it was. This car was probably done up good in the 70's, and instead of putting money into it, they just painted it. The "Celestial" car below is a 73 Trans AM with a 455 4-speed. The untouched original numbers matching engine is still in the car.

As far as ugliest Firebird ever, I would rank the eagle beak and Celestial right up there. Here's what the "ultimate" hot rods looked like back then:

This one doesn't look very old.

73 red Trans AM with a reserve in Florida. Of all the early endura nose 70-73 Trans AMs, this one is my third favorite. First would be a Lucy blue, then a Brewester green 73 and then this 73 red one with original honeycombs. The new 17's look good on some cars, but I'll take an original set of 15" over the 17". They just look better on rare cars.

Interesting car. 74 Trans AM 455 Super Duty 4-speed at $15K with a reserve and a BIN at $89.5K in Georgia. Honeycombs look awesome and it has 75K original miles.

A lot of cool blue cars today. 1965 Pontiac Tempest 6 cylinder three-on-the-tree at $18K BIN OBO in Texas. If you've never driven a three-on-the-tree, yer missing out. I've driven many, and figuring out the clutch is more different than you think if you haven't driven one before.

74 Firebird 350 Regatta blue at $10K with a reserve with 48K original miles in Florida. Is that 350-2 sticker correct?
