You may not like it, but I do.

Unfortunately it does look like a one-shot wonder.

Not that I think that something is suspicious, but interesting to note the build sheet says 'Russell Pontiac', the window sticker says 'Russ Pontiac' and the owner's manual envelope says 'Giant Russ Pontiac'. Weird.

The PHS says Russell Pontiac also.

Probably the window sticker was misprint?

Was this owned by a PY'er before?

The pic with the owner manual also shows Russell Pontiac along with the Giant Russ Pontiac
(in the Free Tow decal)

Back to the 69 RAIV GTO, I noticed it doesn't have PS or PFDB. Would it be better to leave the car with all its born-with parts, or is upgrading the brakes and steering OK?

Pic of the car with its original owner:

Manual drum brakes, manual transmission, manual steering, bench seat, non hideaways, steel wheels. This guy was just about going fast. All the money was put into the drivetrain. I wouldn't change a thing.
As for the color, I wouldn't have chosen it but it's really pretty with those redlines... I would even say it 'pops'.

I'm showing a dealer code change in '68-69 for Russell - maybe they were toying with different names (tho both I list are under 'Russell'). Never saw 'Giant Russ' before.

I literally laughed out loud. I think I'll change my Fantasy Football's team name to Mr. Speed.

I don’t understand the hate for a 70-72 Lemans chrome nose upgrade. A lot of people don’t want the full job of replacing the entire front end, so there’s a cheaper mod. The 442 hood-like scoops look good on the stock Lemans hood. How many of us diehards are left that even know it’s not stock? 442 is GM with a chrome nose and Lemans is GM. I like the 442ish hood mod.

68 GTO 4-speed with a 71 engine and added RAM AIR in Georgia at NR $18.1K. Royal Bobcat paintjob. The car looks like it's in nice shape. Not a fan of the two-tone paintjob. I don't know anything about Royal Bobcat, but the trunk paint is fairly abstract. Also has inner fenders painted red. Pretty sure that was a 67 GTO thing, but not a 68.
