70 GTO 455 HO convertible at $7K BIN in Florida. Says it's NM, but the air cleaner is wrong, so there's that. Would prolly need a re-body to bring it back, but a very rare car.

70 GTO Orbit orange Judge at $10.6K in Illinois. It's missing a lot. Started at $1K with a reserve, then shot up to $10.6K quickly with the reserve not met. I would guess the reserve is $11K. Comes with a NOM engine and trans. JMHO, but I'd pass on this one at that price.

They posted more pics on the 70 GTO convert and it's not a 455HO. The block is a YS, so it's a standard 400. Bad ROI IMO, but a lot of good parts, and not so good parts.

79 T/A automatic in NM at $5K NR. Probably no rust and only has 56K miles. Comes with a set of rebuilt 6X heads. Has a 77 or 78 nose. Nice start to a project.

Another victim of incorrect decal syndrome. A 1970 455 GTO would have a '455 CID' fender badge, not a '455HO' badge. Pontiac called it an HO, but the 1970 GTO 455 was a D port engine

I have no idea why people do things like this? Same with putting "RAM AIR" stickers on the hood, when it doesn't have it. Wow, so your car has Ram Air huh? Well, no, but driving it down the street you can't tell. I did open the scoops up so water can dump on my air cleaner, so there's that.

I chalk it up to ignorance honestly. A lot of people weren't around when these cars were new, or haven't owned enough of them to know what's what. It still baffles me that people can't even place decals in the right places, but they can plaster a red Buick air cleaner decal on their car

What he said. 100% agree. Those 400-4 stickers are like nails on a chalkboard. Also, Trans Am's that use the wrong stickers for that year. To each his/her own and I do love that aspect of the hobby, but my respect for the cars runs deeper. I guess you had to be there in the 70's. One of my fondest memories was seeing Macho T/A's driving around in Pheonix when I was a kid in 1979. They made them there and as a teenager.I saw a lot of them... Zoiks! That was the ****.back then... those Macho T/A's. I love seeing a real one. A fake one, ok? ... just make it look right.

68 Firebird in CA at $12.8K BIN. Fiberglass hood has a supercharged SBC under it. CA car, so prolly minimal rust. Longest rear exhaust ever. I've seen worse.

69 Firebird Gateway car at $10K reserve not met in Georgia. Claims to be a NM 400 with an "upgraded 5 speed" transmission. Has an aluminum top end and 17" Rally II's. I do like the white vinyl top as you don't see them often. Also has the eBay mandatory "400-4" sticker on the air cleaner. Very clean car and I'm sure it's fun to drive. The fact that it was an original 400 doesn't mean much IMO, as it's too far from stock to really matter.

68 Firebird convertible in Minnesota at $43.5K BIN. Red paint looks beautiful to me and this car looks very clean. Has an odd non-shifter Slurpee cup holder , which is a first. Other than a new air cleaner, it really doesn't need much. Priced too high IMO for a 350 car.

Rode hard and put up wet 68 Firebird in Missouri at NR $2K. I don't see a positive ROI with this one.

Rare 69 Firebird bench seat three-on-the-tree in Maine at $21K NR. I've always wanted one of these. Talk about theftproof.
