Can you imagine entering your Pontiac in the 2013 PSN and be lucky enough to park your car next to a P-51 Mustang?

Wonder if they have a P-38? My dad flew them in WWII.....love to get a pic of my T/A with a 38! We'll see!

I have a pic of the SD parked next to a P51.....courtesy of Guy Mabee and the Texas Confederate Air Museum.
Yes, it is cool.
Hey Paul, did the HPP feature of your car ever get published?

If you are more of a Jet Age fan, how about the chance of parking your Pontiac next to a F-86 Sabre Jet? If so then you need to plan on attending the Pontiac Southern Nationals in September.

Saturday, September 7th, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm:
The All Pontiac Car Show will be on the grounds of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, TX. The show field will be a combined – indoor and outdoor setup with Pontiacs parked inside the hanger or outside on the Cavanaugh grounds at the airport. And there will be plenty of vintage planes and military vehicles on the grounds as well – there will even be a tank! The car show entry fee includes admission to the Flight Museum for those arriving in the show car.
Pontiac fans, family and spectators arriving in vehicles other than show cars will enter the car show and Flight Museum via the Cavanaugh Flight Museum entrance and pay the museum admission fees.

Sunday, September 8th, Gates open at 8:00 am:
The PSN Drag Race Day will be back at our favorite quarter mile track, the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. To spice things up this year, the PSN Race event will be held in conjunction with the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge. The TMCCC is a car club vs. car club venue that has dates scheduled throughout the year, and DAPA always participates. Combined with PSN on Sunday, Sept. 8 will allow PSN Pontiacs to race against Chevys, Fords, Mopars and whatever else is in the other lane.

TA-71 is there a hotel near the dragstrip that is safe to leave a car on the trailer overnight? Not into shows and such. When do the drags usually get over there? Thanks Rod

rod,

The Texas Motorplex is out in the middle of nowhere, there are decent hotels in Waxahachie and in Ennis. But nothing right at the track. I will check into some locations and post back up.

Countdown is down to 45 days till PSN time. Do you have your room booked yet? Have you pre-registered for the Show? It is not too late.

We have several new hotels on I-45 in Ennis which would be the closest to the track.

I think I will make the trip up from San Marcos in my 1937 Model 2601 Sedan. My only concern is it being outside overnight in the big city. Maybe I'll just come for the day.
