"Actually, it's not a bad idea if you do both. Just click Thanks right before you click Quote. That way the member gets 1 added to his/her Thank tally and also a person Thank You.

Nice feature. Hope its not going to be abused for a few members agendas.

I think regular forum members will stop using if they see a pattern of the small group that doesn't really contribute "thanking" each others posts, just to get ranked.

I agree whole heartedly lets keep this option for the very deserving individuals who really do contribute, assist, and provide valuable information to others. It's always a good feeling to know someone is thankful when another can provide guidance, suggestion, and a solution. and ultimately it keeps this hobby alive.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, PONTIAC Enthusiasts are the most gracious helping people I've ever met.

The Thank You option is a great idea. I just like busting Steve's chops and he knows it lol.

If we have a "thank you" button, can we get a "get lost" button?

You already have the IGNORE option. Use that if you don't care for someone LOL. Steve is encouraging a GOOD THING! A "get lost" button is just asking for a pi$$ing war to start.

Be nice Paul.

It's the start of more UP I think.

Now you get the usual crowd that has to be 'Liked' to post useless crap that their buddies can 'Like' so they can boast about their 'Like' count.
The same way the Useless Post went on the post count.
It was changed in the Lobby so the post counts don't add to your 'score'.

Now they have a new way of doing it.

Performance Years adds a new feature to bring the board together and 4-5 of the irregulars demand a way to further troll.

I'll see what I can find.

Better than good. With "ignore", an antagonistic member can still post in my thread and can be "quoted", which does not get ignored by the system. He or she has then effectively invaded a space in which they really are not welcome by the thread starter.

If such a person is unwelcome in my yard or living room or the barstool next me, they are also unwelcome in my thread. I'd like to be my own bouncer on threads I start.
