Got em today... Can't wait to get them installed. Picked them up on shift and brought them back to the fire house. While I was out and about, this is what I came back to.....where I park my fire SUV ....I'm filling in as Battalion Chief at this station...and this is what those jokers come up with: I gotta hand it to them, pretty funny stuff. Love working in the fire service.

Now that's definitely a wide track....I think it also has a hybrid engine.

Looks like fun.

You too Rusty, thanks a lot! On one of the tires, there are two screws taped to the tire....any idea what that is for?

Rim screw starter kit? Something extra. Don't fret over it.

PB,

You got G60x15 didn't you? The reason I ask is this is the cap on my original spare with a G60x15 poly.

Cool, thanks Mike.....I have never seen the ones pictured from py on cars before....so your cap looks grey, is that right? Was it black and then faded or ?

Seems like one of the knowledgable guys here stated that the original valve stems/caps were made for GM by Dill. The caps looked very similar to the one in your pic on the left. I have a few from cars I parted back in the '70's that say Dill on the cap, as well as 627. They are definitely black.

I'm not positive it's correct. But, it's looks to be a pewter color.
I bet like Ric said correct would be black and have a nib at end.
But, pewter would look nice on yours. Haha

I got these from smallhurst a few years ago. Very happy with them. They get real sticky when they get hot.

I am thinking about a set of these. But I am going old school on some polished slotted mags for a period old school look. Need to start saving!

Do you have the radials or bias plys? If you want the GR 70-15 Steelgard, that tire is available.

Hello!!!!

Contact me if you want me to bring Goodyear's to the track for the Pure Stock Drags in Stanton, MI on Sept. 12 & 13. Same as in years past, $10/ tire delivered to the track. My cell is 816-654-3400. Call for pricing and to reserve the tires so that we are not looking at a back order situation.
