After re looking at the pics, I think its a 10 bolt, and its a 2.73 posi. That rear has lived in there a long time, it even has coil overs, stock 4 leafs too. It may have had a gear change, or the previous owner told him it was a 3.73. But I really doubt its been out.
This came came std with a 2.73 ( non ac) in 73. IMHO

The 3:08 to 1 rear gears were the std. gear for the 73 T/A. not the 2:73 to 1 as mentioned.

This is a NON ac Formula car...Not a T/A.. in 73.
Safety track was optional too

If partial VIN is correct, it's a 400 engined Formula with auto (visually speaking) and would have a 3.08:1 rear as standard. And, it's a 10 bolt (again, visually speaking).

73 had two options depending upon options 3,08 and a 3,42

Guess my brain was in 350 mode.. that got a 273 as std with a th350.. Thanks for the chart HFR, Sorry REX!!
