It's been hit and miss for me, some posts have been instant and others have taken 30 seconds.

Like others have shared, edit's are flawless, it's the regular posts that are more often "glacial"... I will generally (when I get the duplicate post message) scroll up, and open a new window of the discussion - and of late I have not had one instance where my post wasn't already there.

My posts take about 15 to 30 seconds. However I was using 2015 page setup forever. Now its 2017. I have to keep scrolling for box to go to 2015. Also clubhouse will not let me in after I'm logged in forum with password. Then I try using clubhouse password still nothing.

Not sure what happened but something threw the brakes on. My replies take up to a minute, used to be instant. I thought it was just me.

When I convert to 2015 setup it will not stay in that setup when I look at another page or forum. So i need to keep looking for box. I'm so use to 2015 and how easy it was to use I'm spoiled.

I just posted and it went right through but clicked on edit and it lagged for about 30 seconds.
Edit - After I clicked to post this it kicked me back to the posting box with this message... "This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between posts. Please try again in 4 seconds." Frank

What browser are you using? (Firefox for me) Might try changing to 2015 and then bookmarking PY and see if it's because of a old history problem on your browser? PS: Just edited this because my posts are always like triple spaced between lines. It saved slowly.

I just noticed when I click to post and it's just sitting there like it's doing nothing and I'm waiting for it to go through... If I open another window and go to the page I'm posting on, the post is there, it's actually already posted, while still showing on the initial page, still waiting. So it's not that it's not posting right away, it's just not showing posted to the sender.

My posting speed is fast with just the occasional false warning about double posting. Exactly what Frank describes above in fact. Resist the temptation to hit send again because the post is already there.
What I have noticed for the last week or so is that I have gotten zero email notifications from the forum.

The moderators noticed that as well, we passed the info on to the systems administrator.

Posting speed is still mostly ok but sometimes delayed. The good news is that I'm getting subscribed thread email notifications again as of yesterday and that hasn't happened in a long time..

The moderators have noticed notifications were working again too, although we don't know what has changed.

Posting speed is very slow but I don’t have to log in every time I look at the forums anymore so that’s a plus! I see some people with double posts still. I don’t have that issue.
Nothing’s perfect.

How old is the software running this sight?
Duz someone keep it current with updates?

Over a month later, and it's still taking so long for my post to load I leave and do other stuff. I'd say 90 seconds to 2 minutes for two sentences to load. The other forums, it's instant.

Same here, just assumed it was me as hadn't seen this post. A pain to sit there that long and then realise you want to add an extra bit or have spelt something wrong.
