I would like to see a repop of the rear tail panel and valance panel for the 1970-73 Firebird and T/A.

I've been casually looking into having the 1 1/8" (1 1/4") '72 GTO WW5 rear anti-roll bar reproduced. I don't care much for the aftermarket bars which don't replicate the "look" of the OEM bar. With good used OEM bars going for $500.00+, I figure it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a few made and test the market, so to speak. Thanks to oPh, I've got a good used OEM bar to use as a pattern. I contacted Addco, but they were NOT interested.

A while back, someone on here posted this link to Saner Performance Fabrication:

http://www.sanerperffab.com/

Neither phone number listed on the page works, and several e-mails have gone unanswered.

Does anyone have better info on how to reach Saner, or know of another source for a reproduction bar?

What makes me mad is that through the years I prolly bought at least a half-dozen of these brand new over the counter! Two of them snapped at the RH rearmost control arm bolt hole, and the rest went with cars I sold off through the years

Chris . . . anyone . . .?

Well some things we need real bad..
ta metal dash bezel

billet door handles to replace the crappy always breaking ones on the camaros, tas and think vettes. Not the factory metal ones maybe mean the door pulls that come in differnt colors on the 79 to 81 cars.

Someone has to make some unbreakable front spoilers.Maye out of rubber instead of what the factory used. The factory 79 to 81 are better I hear than the pre 79 but still far too fragile.

Also noone now makes 79 to 81 tailights I don't believe anymore.

Seat belts, seat belts, seat belts. And not that generic stuff that you can buy at J. C. Whitney. The GM belts with little "coaches" on them and maybe even retractor models. This has to be a high demand item.

One who places safety first is, quite specifically, a coward. We do not go to war to be safe, neither do we climb mountains, or race cars, or hunt buffalo, to be safe.

I think the Chevy guys have already done the 65 deluxe buckle.

Plenty of good used 66-7 deluxe belts available.

How about a 68-69 Endura ? 1/2 way decent used ones are $500 then you still have to prep them etc. NOS are $1000 + if you can find them. Plus there is no telling how long htey will last ..being 35 year old compounds.

Lloyd: "But since Butler is already casting "improved" (and possibly "dated") iron RA IV heads, why not offer some "OEM" style aluminum heads with even more improvements than they're doing on the iron castings? Improved ports and chambers, etc.

I'd certainly like to take a few pounds off the front of my cars, while improving performance and looking stock."

ANYONE

RAIV Don't leave home without it.

How about 74 - 74 Trans Am lower valance and front bumper. These things are very hard to locate in decent condition.

How about the Chrome Bolts that are used on 66 seat belts?

All good things are worth waiting for. "Yeah right", I want them now!
