^^^^....advertised durations....
the meat is in the .050" figure where the HO racing cams add 10 degrees compared to the factory grinds.

Nice car. Original miles? Could be. There are very few quibbles.

Definitely a nice car, but it does have replacement exhaust, shocks, hoses, belts, hose clamps, non-original battery and the earlier mentioned tires. Front valence is steel replacement. There could be other parts replaced that can't be determined in the pictures. These are things I would take into account before I would pay "time capsule" money.

there's WAYYYYY to much greasy filth around the steering joints.
Just remember.........speedo cables are so easy to disconnect on these cars......or alter the odometer.

Right. One of my NOS Firestone 500s grenaded over the winter with only a few psi in it. And it was stored in the corner of the garage.

I think it's just the vinyl delaminating from the pressboard backing.

I see what you're saying... distorted picture? flaw in the plastic when it was moulded?

sdbob, I have an HC-62 SD455 cam from my former SD TA. The cam came with the car when I bought it in 1989 and appears to be in great condition. This is the 230/240 @.470/.470 (w/1.5 RR) cam, which was advertised as the 744HL version of the stock Y cam, so essentually a stock RAIV cam with the big distributor gear. I believe it was purchased and installed in the late '70's/early '80's and removed when the motor was rebuilt in 1983. It was suposed to be reinstalled, but due to a mix-up, the original Y cam was reinstalled with Rhodes lifters. The PO didn't know it until I saw him a few years ago and asked him why he used the Rhodes on the factory cam. He said he thought the HO Racing cam was in there all along and was news to him.
