This belongs to a friend of mine and he was going to use it on an Impala. Not sure what year it was but he sold the Impala before he could do it. The '61 Impala sedans are not really all that rare around here at least. I just traded mine for a '61 Catalina htp and have seen a good half dozen of more for sale this year alone. Pics are of my BelAir that I traded for the Catalina.

The highlight is in the wrong place. Down low instead of just above the wheel openings.

Is it a Formula or a Trans AM with the Formula lettering on it? There was never a Formula straight out of the factory with the TA hood..... not even as an option. He could have change it but for some reason I doubt it.

Not exactly true, the 73 & 74 SD Formulas had T/A Hoods. But you are correct for any non SD 455 powered Formula

You are right Jeff... I didn't even think of that. Had to be a Super Duty.

I've seen at least two '32 roadsters with pedals that are higher than the seat. (Like I imagine those are.). I can't wrap my head around how I'd drive that.

What exactly were you searching for when you found that one Jeremy? Looking for new sofas for the family room?

The interior has that Dragnet 60's LSD whorehouse vibe.

Classic.

Clearly an A body. That's a Pontiac rear bumper and wheels, so I'm pretty sure it's a Lemans. The body line looks like a skylark, but I'm guessing it's just the way the light is hitting it in the pic, cause it's way to much work to screw that up. It's just not really showing that distinct line ponchos have above the wheel arches. Bad pic really. Might be a goat.

There was a chevelle/skylark hybrid I saw a while back though.

I feel that just sitting in this thing you would contract some sort of venereal disease, or at the very least, fleas and ticks.

Damn, I'm getting itchy just looking at the picture.
