Nice they converted it to a late model Hemi but that scoop! That's worth at least a $10,000 reduction in price!

Olds did away with half the bolts sometime around 73. Same gaskets and same valve covers...Just didn't drill all the holes in the covers and head. And seems like it was three bolts on top and two bolts on bottom. Which didn't make any sense to me because the bottom of the cover was longer/wider than the top.

Totally off topic ... put has any Pontiac owner got so fed up that they drilled and tapped some small holes along the top of the head to add a couple of extra valve cover screws?

Would be nice is someone produced some cast pieces that looked almost identical to stock. With polished tops they might look the same from a distance.

He needs to deduct $3000 for the engine being stripped down to short block.
Says he has the original wheels but he also better have the heads and intake/carb.

I wonder if that was original with red/red vinyl top. Pretty unusual if that's the case.

“95% there.” ... after you replace 20% of the rusted out sheet metal and replace the at least 15% of stuff under the hood that’s missing.

At least he’s honest about the poor condition of the body - that’s the first time I’ve seen rotten pillars listed as an “ez fix” -type thing.

That would be cool but I'm pretty sure vinyl tops were not available in red, at least that year.
