Default Garage

It has its own personal stall. I keep it away from the "traffic area". Its a 3 car garage so when I need to work on it I clear out the other 2 cars and move it over. If I had A/C it would be perfect.
BTW Peanut Gallery, you all can save the Camaro / Chebby comments... I have heard them all before...

MARK...just saw that picture of your shop garage...looks great!
Lift sounds impressive.

MIKE...you have a couple of nice cars there, the Lemans looks really clean. SS looks good in there as well.

Thanks it was alot of hard work to pull it off and a years worth of sweating and dodging bullets and mortars to pay for it. I am not happy with the used lift that I have in there now so I will replace it eventually, could be that i am too picky, but when it comes to safety you can never be to careful. Mark

Did I read that right, the number of cars your lift holds? Is that a storage lift?

I havent seen those advertised in car publications (if it is), is that something made a while back or special order to be used like in a NY City parking garage?

No the garage has 10 in there and could fit more if I packed it tight. The lift is just an old 2 post i bought from someone I know. I don't like it as it makes me nervous. Mark

Thank you Jeff!
The SS has been to the Winternationals 4 times and has won 4 Platinum certificates. Out of 1000 points it always has scored in the 990's, the highest being a 997.
The Pontiac has never been anywhere but to a few local car cruises. I am planning on taking it to the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise this year. One day I will make it to a Pontiac show. I just have not seen a big event come this far south.

Never been, its a Street Rod and Custom car event but they pack them in big time! Probably have some of everything now.

A bunch of sites came up on google with pictures. Main site:

http://www.turkeyrun.com/Turkey_Run_Home.html

Downside is its TG Weekend. Daytona Beach. Looks like a lot of fun, and many foreign vistors

I heard the largest funeral procession ever was for an organizer of this event who passed. He helped run it each year, supposed to be in Guiness Book of Records, but I havent confirmed and couldnt find it listed online. An organizer of the event I met told me that tidbit.

Sorry....I'm done.......

Default iinside the garage

Here is a picture of the inside of the garage, my son was out there helping out. The motor on the floor in front of my 70 judge is a 77 T/A 4spd motor. There are 8 cars behind these two inside the garage and a work area. The charts on the wall are solviet weapons training charts from an Iraqi AF class room. The portable compressor I use when i am going somewhere, there is a static 120 gallon unit in the garage. Mark

Default my cramped garage

Well, here's my garage. My wife told me I could put anything in here I want / need as long as she has room to park her Tahoe in it. I stuffed it to the gills, as you can see. I have a blast cabinet, welder, pedestal grinder, cherry picker, my toolbox, and a few misc car parts. Plus the lawn mower and all my yardwork tools. The kids bikes are hanging upside down and there are a couple of shelves for their stuff. I do have plans to add on a third bay for my GP and will have enough room for my shop in the back. Hopefully next year.
