Update!

New alky conversion is proving very reliable. The new valve train upgrades are very awesome!!! This little motor will turn 8600 no problem. 9000 a couple times (sorry Rodney lol)......head gaskets still holding up no problem! At the track I run 44-50lbs of boost. On the street I can only get 35-37 to work on a good street. Big props to Rodney and Travis for all their input and hard work! The car went 4.58 at 169 on the 275 radial and I haven't been able to get back on the big tire and get a number (happening soon for sure)......car was 3280lbs when I went testing on the radial at home. It was also down a little in one hole because of water damage taking out an injector driver, and big injector didn't fire on number 7. Sunk the piston in the center. Still hauled ass!

Thanks for the update, great to see your car running so well. Are you dry decked with copper gaskets and O-rings?

Nice! Amazing performance on a 275 at nearly 3300 lbs!

Wow, that should be good for 6's at 200+ in quarter. Bet you're glad you got off the bottle.

Cool vids. I know it's only been a short while since the makeover, but I miss the satin black basic Lemans front end. It had a more "homegrown" flavor. The white GTO look is cool, but I guess you can call me a simple no-frills Great Lakes hillbilly. In fact, I might end up doing satin black on my 72 Lee-mans!

I wonder how a sub-5 second 1/8th car ride compares to an LS7 'Vette motor in a long travel dune buggy? That's my only frame of reference for "crazy fast"!

BrandX is on his game with the Methanol tune-up, he is looking great on the show.
Good Job! Justin, the 405 Guys, Rodney, David, and Travis.
