The STD manifold is still available. "Doc" Robert Brown had that one on his turbo'd 79(?) TA
I think he upgraded to a different intake. Give Jim Sammons a call he can tell you more.

Thanks
This low rise intake made 780hp on my pump gas 521. Good seeing you at Norwalk again also.

... This is low rise manifold ... and Mike McCarty's set up, i'm curious if Mike has had a drop base style air cleaner mounted on there before, it looks like it would clear the hoodline ... and Mike's car runs 9.5's now so i think the low rise manifold can certainly get you what you need Charlie ...

Mike and I run the same intake. Both of us run a 1” spacer also.

So your motor just the way it is, will bolt into a 64 tempest and you would be able to close the stock hood and have clearance for a air cleaner ?

I’m sure it won’t clear with the spacer. It would be close without. I have a SD style scoop on my car.

I have the standard intake w/ a Dominator in my '66 GTO. With a 1" spacer, I needed to switch to a cowl induction hood w/ a drop base air cleaner.

Nice looking pieces, Brian.
Look to be a lil' more robust than the T&D offerings.
