A couple of old Aussie ones...the first is circa 1932, an unknown dealership in Western Australia. Oakland, Pontiac, Vauxhall cars and GMC and British Bedford trucks.
The second is a dealer field show, maybe at a local showground? Taken at Benalla in central Victoria. I don't know the full details, maybe GMH organised for all the local products to go on display? I know they're getting a bit old and that last shot isn't even a Dealership as such, just thought it might be interesting. |

Do any of you all remember your dealerships building GTO's like this cause Byron Stout did it two or three different times...

That is so cool! Now is it black with orange stripes, or orange with black stripes?
I guess Byron Stout hadn't heard yet that the Tiger was finished? Anyone know where this car is today? Any details on Byron Stout Pontiac fng69? |

Orange with black stripes, I'm pretty sure on this. Always wondered if these helped in decideing to paint the 69 Judge that color.Byron Stout did this a few years. A club member is pretty sure a 65 he is restoring is one of these cars. Byron Stout owned his dealership from 1947 all the way throught to mid 70's. In 67 lots of dealers weren't happy with GM telling them to lose the TIGER!! The dealership is still in business today under name of Dovavon and sales Buick's Dang it...

A couple more. The first one is 1968, the second 1964. Is that a 64 GTO convertible in the window? Anyone have a pic/postcard circa 1970 from Kahn Motors NJ?

IIRC someone, at some point, wanted info on Salta Pontiac? I found this shot from 1963. Come in and see the '63's indeed! What a time to be cashed up looking for a new Pontiac.

That must have been a new dealer or at least the building. It looks so period correct. Great pic

Your second pic looks much like a Pontiac Dealer here that was in a small town north of where I live. The building still stands but I think its a carpet store now.

You made me wonder if this one still stands (all previous old dealer pics too). A quick google map search sadly shows that now this is a multi storey complex. But in an obscure Pontiac related tie in, the building has a "Fremont" sign on it.

Saw this one on the HAMB site, so I snagged 'em. I had to look twice at the one with the sedan delivery to be sure it wasn't "new" old pic.
