73 Lemans/Lemans Sport Coupe/GTO optional stripe kits.

It amazes me that the aftermarket does reproduce the Can-Am stripes, and the Lemans GT stripes when there were so few of those cars made. The optional stripes that I am speaking of run from the nose beak, down the hood, across the upper doors, and end just aft of the doors. These stripes would be correct, and could have been ordered on ANY of the 73 Lemans', so therefore could potentially be sold to a much larger number of customers than the Can-Am or especially the LeMans GT stripe packages.

I see a lot of people asking for tail panels for various years of trans ams. I know myself need one for a 79. Is this something that may possibly be in the woks. Just wondering if there is such demand why no one is producing. thanks

In the '59 Bonneville 2dht (body 2837) under the sill plate & carpet there is a long sheet metal shield for the wires in this area (don't know what it is called or the P/N). In Eastern cars this item is usually badly rusted. To my knowledge, there are no replacements available. If not common there should be very similar parts in the Chev., Buicks, and Olds. sharing this basic body. That alone should represent a larger demand beyond Pontiacs. Also, a universal configuration adaptable (with minor modification) to more years & models should increase sales.

How about the Whole rear trunk panel. The peice that goes between the trunk and rear window. I know the top peice is availible but the bottom peice gets rotted out to.

I would like to see a complete hide away headlight kit for converting 68-69 GTOs wih fixed headlights. Maybe something with an electric motor. I would love to covert my 68 but find the task of chasing down all those parts daunting.

Here's an easy one for you guys to repop.
For the 66-67 OHC guys. The correct "Red" Spring Ring positive battery cable.
Not sure if this was used in 68-69.
Most supplyers have what they say is a correct cable(Black) but I beg to differ.
Cheers.

How about an exact reproduction the 067 cam?

We have the 066, 068, 744 and 041 but no 067 cam.

4-barrel GTO restorers would want this cam as well as '64 GTO restorers (same profile as the '64 009 cam). Numerous automatic-trans performance Pontiacs used the 067 cam.

I have 3 cars that need this cam ('64 GTO, '67 GTO 335 HP, '69 Firebird 400 330 HP).

I think the 067 grind would be a very welcome addition to the already good selection of stock Pontiac performance cams now available.

a nice repop of 1/4's and wheel houses for 74-7 g/p's.

even decent skins would be a help.

trunk floor for the above.

interior parts for the same cars.

more people would fix these cars if parts were avaiable.

For all '68 B-bodies:

1) Battery Tray
2) Convertible top switch
3) Emblem on Front bumper or "beak"- everyone I have seen is bad.
4) Quarter panels or complete lower patch panels- most originals rust out at top of wheel housing.
