If everyone had the same tastes the world would be pretty boring, wouldn't it? It would be better with a manual transmission, but I like that Vega.

I think anything that old that looks that good is worth having ... that's why I still have my wife

Good God! You’d be better off buying one of the new bodies from Ford Racing....

unlikely, but you never know what someone stuffed into it. I bought a 76 50th ann 455 and it was advertised as an 455-HO I just passed it off as like so many did and referred to them as HO. but come to find out the guy had put a 72 HO top end on it including exhaust manifolds and cam early in its life.

Missed that when I 1st read the ad.

If it was close to me I would have to check it out, a friend of mine picked up a 70 Formula that had a 74 SD 455 put into it. He talked the seller down because it was not a Numbers Matching car!!!!! Bought it for much less than the engine was worth.

So you never know.

But probably has the original 76 455 under the hood, or would that be a 462 now that's its Boared? At least it would give a convenient place to tack up all the engines paperwork!

To do the 2 door would cost much the same to do but what have you got when it's done? I'll tell you what you have - you have just one more 2 door LeMans. In the crudest form, a 2 door LeMans is not much different to a Mustang. And those are like ***holes - everyone seems to have one.

Build the 4 door and you will have quite a different car. As time progresses, the rarer , much less seen cars, will start to draw greater attention.
