CRYTA-Car went across friday night at 11-20. Place was empty-bid was 85k. If you are going to get on here and run your mouth,at least have a clue of what you are talking about. As usual-you dont know what you are talking about. Good to hear from you though.

Darrel took home a concours gold award. It was a beautiful car! What a great looking color combo too.

Great looking Car! Definately A+++ Quality and Craftsmanship. Concours Gold
1969 Hardtop Judges in CONCOURS @ Whichita 2010:

1 Palldium Silver ,1 Starlight Black, 1 Limelight Green, 4 Carousel Red( Ram Air4, 4Spd "Display only" and sold there!)

1969 Judge Verts:

2 Matador Red

1969 Judge Popular Vote Class :10+? Wangers said most he has seen at 1 convention in CR?

Darell's color combination was killer and the BLUE interior reflected beautifully through the clear glass. Exhaust Sounded Healthy also.
Congrats!!

Tim.
Tim it should be noted your car took home best restored! Congrats... It was nice meeting you and picking at your Limelight Judge. Imagine that... BEST RESTORED at a GTOAA Convention was a light green car with a green interior! That's great, goes to show the Judges aren't just looking at the red cars!

The Ram Air IV Car was a really nice numbers matching survivor specimen with
53,000 on the clock, as original and documented as you can get. We were all drooling
over that car all weekend, But the car couldn't get a better owner who knows what to do with it and keep it well preserved than the new owner.
Tim's limelight green 69 Judge was extremely deserving of that award. My 2 favorite cars were Darrell and Tim's 69 Judges followed by the 70 Ram Air IV Starlight Black Judge Convertible and then both 69 Judge verts. I will look at pictures for the 70 CONCOURS Judge numbers / colors that attended.
Paul thanks for pointing that out!

Unfortunately, due to car counts and class sizes, i didn't get to Judge the seventy's this year... From memory there was one White Judge from TX, one Verdoro Green Judge out of Canada, a Modified red Judge and the Black RA IV Judge 'vert.

Terry Wiener's Gold 67 and the black sixty-five 'vert done by Jim Mott were extremely nice cars and probably were my favorites which is really odd because I'm not an early chrome bumper GTO guy! Of the Judges there, Darrell's Silver car, Tim's Green car, Rob's White 70 and the 70 that Gary Riley did were the ones that really stood out to me.

The 69 CR IV car was a four speed, 3.90 car. Three prior owners, never apart, stripped and painted a dozen years ago, photo's showed very, and I mean VERY little rust on the California car before the respray. Other than a few tune up parts and the original 8-track, it appeared to be all there.

Thank you everyone for the comments. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and critique their car, they were all beautiful and well done. I had a wonderfull time and everything went very smoothly thanks to everyone at the witchita club who did all the hard work. I look forward to someone posting some pics, i only got a few cause it seemed i was busy the whole time i was there. I didnt get 1 picture of my own car when HPP did the photo shoot, i left my camera in the room that day.

As for who bought the IV judge, I'll let him post if he wants. I can assure you that car will have correct fuses, door panels and firewall pad!

From what i understand, the person that just sold it, had it for 17 years in kansas. I think car was from out west. California built. Very nice car!
