Update on the 57. Working through a few minor issues but should be at the track in the next week or two. The starter is from SNAP.

Thanks.
I may have missed a post- is that an alternator in a generator housing?
Do you plan to run drag tires?
What stall speed is the fluid coupling cut for?

Can you share details on the carbs you’re running and whose air cleaners those are?

Any modifications to them (air cleaners)?

Hi Jack,
Yes that is a powermaster alternator that I already hadso I decided to use it.
I am running Towel City pie crust slicks
The cut on the torus is 2800- 3000. I feel pretty comfotable with the trans. I'm running the sames specs my Dad and Uncle's ran in their blown Chrysler many years ago. I have a B&M blown competion unit as well as the B&M and Hydro-Motive unblown competion units. I'll post a short video.

Thanks,
Todd

The carbs are Carter 500 cfm. The velocity stacks are offenhauser. I think the part number is 5315. I added the screen attachments.

Hey Pat,

The carbs are the same exact ones I ran on my GTO before I went to the Warrior and roller cam. I bought these from Ray Bisig a long time ago, had the biggest jets for the carbs, I ran 11.46 with them.

Yes, those are the carbs you sold me and then needed back, so I sold them back to you.

Do those velocity stacks have a separate screen added to them? I can’t tell from any pictures if screens come standard from Offy or have been added?
