Yeah, like it sat in a desert without the hood or something. It doesn't even rate a good patina.

Do you think its possible that the coast air did that? It's in Redondo beach.

[QUOTE=Lightfoot;6440373]Nicely modified street pounder but what poor taste in colors (clashing).

Yes, some very strange color choices...I always wonder what happened after someone put that much effort into customizing and then walk away from it

Seller posted more pics to the ad.

Looks like the trunk was full of water at one time. Looks like drivers fender inner structure is rusted out and so is the trunk lid.

Wish the car was a half hour from me... I'd go look at it... probably end up dragging it home.

No problem it will fire right up after sitting in the desert with the rocker covers off.

Default 1966 Tempest OHC6 sedan in Houston

No pictures worth attaching, title of ad says nothing about what kind of car is for sale!

Ads like that amaze me, 66 Base Tempest 4-door, OHC-6 1bbl. You think they would at least put the year, and model in the title.

Whitewalls look close to stock, I would not put BFG's on it...

...or anything but in the dumpster.
