The best way to remember a good friend for sure. They live on in your memories every time you see the car. I have one like this. It will increase your enjoyment of the car exponentially, and your friend will enjoy knowing his prized possession is well cared for.

Sorry to here this. I know it is just a car. But his memory will last forever in it. You should keep that car. Don't worry about if it is correct and don't worry about how people judge it. Keep it, drive it, show it and most of all enjoy it for your friend. You have a very desireable car and you have a very good story to go along with it.

My sentiments exactly. You will absolutely love the car and Bill will be smiling down on you every time that you drive it.

Last year, I had the pleasure of speaking with Bill as he inquired about a bumper I was selling. We spoke a few times, and he decided that the bumper was too costly. We discussed other things about our cars and we left off with Bill saying he would get back to me about a particular item that I was interested in that he may have a lead on. Well, I never heard back from Bill, and now I understand why. He was a gentleman and may he rest in peace.

I do remember him talking about this and yes he was very much a gentleman.

Thank you,

Default Unfortunately the car will have to be sold

This is not something I want to do but I can't afford to keep it and finish my car also. It's costing me over $3000.00 a year just to store it in the garage where I keep my car. My car is apart right now and I need the $ to fix it. I'll have to wait a little longer for probate but I thought I would let you all know. Here are some pics I took last weekend.
I did find the original build sheet. I will post more info of the car when I have time.

Can't you find more reasonable storage?

I'm in Boston and I pay $150.00 a month for a 2 car garage and $65.00 a month for a single car garage w/an electric door.

It would be terrible for you to sell that car!

This is the only place I have right now to store it inside and this is not the only reason for selling it, I don't want to get into his personal affairs on a message board. Like I said it's not something that I want to do. I guess I should of said something about that because I made it sound like it was just because of the money, believe me it's not just the money. I feel bad that I have to sell it but I have no choice.

I bought this car back in March and took it apart and stripped the body to bare metal. What a great original rust free body it has. I should have it done in a few weeks and maybe taking it to Norwalk.

Personally, I would have left it alone, but it's good to see that it won't be apart very long!!! Good luck with the rebuild/resoration.

In person you had to paint it. The top and interior was so nice but the panel alignment and the paint was just taking away from it. It had runs in it and looked too thick. It will be a much nicer car when its finished.
