I know of a WT7 here in Canada. Worked on it back in high school auto in the 80's. Still know the original owner and see it at shows now and then. Have never seen any documentation on it though, but I know its never been repainted or modified.

Well Baron looks like you are right only ther other side is correct I got two the same but market as right and left. Not to worry I am getting good at removing the stripes after all this practice.Last week I got the first shipment marked 1970 Judge stripes and when I opened up the box there were 1969 Judge stripes in the box?

I'd take pictures of both sides and send them to the place of purchase.
-- And ask for replacement at zero charge. They will probably want to see that proof anyhow. Would be right angry if was faced with having to purchase another whole kit just for 1 piece. You're getting closer and closer to having a finished WT7 ! That die-cast car is carbon copy of your car -- Spooky Strange. Down to the wheel opening moldings and formula wheel .... cool. |

I came across it when doing searches - and snagged it. So the May Built car that was pictured - - is it the White/Red RamIV Judge from Don Miller ? Is it "thought to be" - or perhaps - "known to be" a WT7 ? Does it have Formula wheel and Hood Tach ? Was it the "model" for the Die-Cast ? Don't be too humble - feel free to boast at least a little ! |

Orbit Orange and WT7 were both late entries into the model year. About the same time frame, by coincidence. The pics posted would have been done in the late fall/early winter since it was about that late when WT7 got finalized. And those particular WT7 shots are the only ones that reflect correct option details. I would guess the pair was loaded up and taken to Deep South or Florida for the shoot. If the backdrop is for sure a Michigan location - it may be trick photography. Have to agree, Michigan probably wouldn't be that nice and lovely at that time of year. |

Sounds pretty damm unique ! Black/Red/Yellow stripes would definitely have been best combo with that. imo Date is qualified. Any chance of a polaroid picture ? |

: UPDATE :
Its been almost 7 years since we documented this Unicorn RamAir IV 4spd Judge WT-7 I fell across an update couple weeks ago (via Yenko.net) in their -auctions on eBay links- category It was owned by Dan in Florida back in 2011 when all this went down. Now its in Lancaster Penn with a different owner. Possibly more owners in-between Now and Then ? It was just recently listed on eBay ending May 17th. Somehow it has lost its WT7 Heritage and PMD Marketing/Co.Car Status No mention of either accolade in auction description. Spoiler painted back to White and Decals back to Blue Amazing how things get forgotten so soon and lost in the shuffle between owners. This is a FIRMLY Documented WT-7 car with 2 Invoices and Production Line Buildsheet. BOTH Invoices still on File with PHS I bet the bidding would have went a lot more past the 65,700 mark if seller were more Diligent. It was over the 6-figure mark when Dan owned it. So when did the interior get changed over? This article and the original Pontiac pics show a black interior...

The Judge in that article -- is the early PMD Show Car that is owned by Wake Powell.
It had faktry Black interior. The WT-7 Marketing Car that was main subject of this thread - had faktry Red interior. 2 different cars. And both very unique. The WT-7 has 2 Invoices still archived in PHS records. Its Invoice #1 is missing from archive. It would have reflected its original designation to Marketing , just like the Buildsheet states. Invoice #2 is dated approx 1 month later than the Buildsheet - and reflects when it was then used as a PMD Company Car. Invoice #3 is dated approx 6 months later - and reflects when it was sold to/through Schappe Pontiac in Wisc. There are several different scenarios that we could hypothesize concerning the larger than "normal" 6 month gap. One of those being it could have even had another PMD Invoice / mission between #2 and #3 , making it a 4 Invoice Car. Thats just 1 of the possibilities. And not necessarily the most likely. Anything is just an educated guess on that point. The world will never know. If the car keeps changing hands as a basic White IV Judge , and the documents don't change hands with car each time , it will fade into incognito. I never re-contacted Wade about getting the documents he has on the Show Car.
It also has 2 Invoices left in archives at PHS. And it is likely missing its Invoice #1 also. |

Baron which Pontiac promotional pic - of the four you posted earlier in this thread - used the red interior car? Perhaps this one, with photo doctoring?

We ,
or at least i , don't know what car was used in any of the publicity photos. Practically every different picture , the car has different characteristics. Even displaying Ram Air , and Ram Air IV in different shots. Not sure if we know exact date when any picture was taken. Most of the pictures have been scrutinized before , they have their own set of controversies amongst themselves. The Marketing WT-7 was not produced until Feb 1970. Don't know if any pictures were ever published or printed of it , or not. No one has ever made that claim towards it. |
