70 to 73's look fine without it. Makes it look like more of a fastback in my opinion.

Steve, that side shot (pic 2) really shows the look I will be going for. Except in silver. I agree on the fastback being highlighted.

It can't be superfluous if it works, which has been proven in wind tunnels.

You still haven't stalked the spoiler yet? The one from me not good? Has all the studs and correct nuts too?
What's the dilemma?

Since it looks like a split, I guess you can put just the middle spoiler on trunk lid?
(have a 74 trunk lid with factory holes)

My confusion, basically, Mike. I was set on the spoiler, and got the great one from you. I had a hood project planned with using 76 Formula scoops repositioned. Hood wound up being bad, so I scrapped that part of it. Was getting ready to drill car, when I started having doubts, especially on spoiler with flat hood. So I threw this poll up. It wound up REALLY getting me thinking. Kind of decided car should stay what it is and not be something it isn't. That and how few are left this way. So plan now is to prep and paint spoiler with car, and if I ever change mind in future, that option is there. It'll be a few months before paint shop on car, so maybe I'll feel different then, but this is plan now.

Well, you at least have a good spoiler to sell, keep or use. Win win win

Too cool to ever let go (unless you need back).... It will get used someday, not sure how. Thanks again, brother!

Trunk lids are relatively inexpensive and you can buy them with the holes pre-drilled exactly. Buy a second lid, and have both painted. Then you can enjoy the benefits of a spoiler when driving around, and then swap it out to appease the others at car shows.

New line of Velcro attached spoilers coming out, for the mentally confused types. Like me.

It had better be some super strong adhesive too, on the super strong Velcro. The way the spoiler is made, Velcro is not a good candidate to use. Anyone that does is asking for a big "Ooops, there goes another one".
I still vote yes. As I said I added the spoiler to my plain Jane 71 Camaro, with a flat hood, and it looked fine. To me the car looked like it was missing something at the rear because of the body style. The looks of the front had nothing to do with installing a spoiler or not. IMO it made the car look better.

Putting a spoiler on this car, is like me leaving it off of my 78 Bandit tribute car.
