Kinda figured something like that, I guess if you own a grand pix your always on the look out for others, It will take me awhile to get my other one done, so i had to have something to drive and keep my motavation going. Its easy to get side tracked when you dont have alot of money. Interior is good except seats and carpet and just picked up door panels from a guy in salina, so im good thanks. Your car looks awsome, hope my cars look like that someday

NICE! That bronze color is perfect for the GP body style.

Whoa ! thats wild ,, I must have stared at the interior pic for 20 mins.
They had to have cut the dash in half, swapped sides ,then bonded it back it together . Anyway.... thats cool as heck Love the color too !

1969 gp's
hey keith, nice to see someone else that has more than one of these cars. i have 3 of them, all are 69 model j's but 1 is rare 1 of 19611. i was working on 1 but currently am out of commision unable to do any lifting; putting a 455 in the one i was working on. teaching my wife how to rebuild the 455. I REALLY LIKE THAT NASCAR. ENJOY THOSE CARS.

Was this car parked in Pontiac at last years Woodward Dream Cruise? I seen a Castillian Bronze GP with a 4 speed there.

Finally putting some time in my 72 SJ car. Doesn't have the original drivetrain and was missing some body parts. This was another guys parts car. Ifigured I could save her from the boat ride to China and make her a daily driver.

throwing my hat into the ring...
My first foray into the "Gen 2" GP scene...
'69 J. Unrestored, original paint, 400 4bbl 3 speed. Needs a lot of work but I absolutely LOVE this car. |

more info, questions
More pics soon... As far as its history, I am a little confused.
It/she was titled to someone in Tulsa, Okla., in 1998. I have no records of the car before that, EXCEPT a copy of an internal GM sales invoice showing: Sold to: G.M. Overseas Distributors Corp. in NYC ...who is that and why? It shows as options: -cordova top -rally 2 wheels -soft ray glass all around -p/b am radio -variable power steering -G78-14 WSW tires ...and finally... EXPORT PREP ...what is THAT? So the car must have quickly gone from NYC (if it ever got there to begin with) to the southwest because the sheetmetal is very nice. |

Export prep was probably for shipping overseas? Very cool. Looking forward to the pics.
