Good luck next year and keep gettin faster!
lance
Lance it isnt all there fault HPP took lots of photos oh my car and was going to put it in the shootout at Norwalk this year, but we didnt perform. we had problems that werent found till sunday morning. they said they would save the photos and have us back again.
They took the Photos we just had a bad day.........

I havent talk to pontiac enthusiast much, but they do have a Nice color shot of the car in this months JAN/ FEB issue and a short sentance about out technical dificulties at norwalk they said we put on a good show even with the problems wich I thought was nice.

Car craft also put us in twice this year nice color shots

Hot Rod 3 times this year

Fastest street car atleast a dozen photos through out the year

ESPN TV 5-7 times

all of this on a year that the car was never really up to par and didnt do well except the one event we won I think the mags are trying they just dont know who the pontiacs are. we need more pontiacs to go to big events
Langer and Bruce get into plent as do I I think it is the events that you attend as much as the car

we helped a red firebird get ready for a feature in Bradington his name was John I know he is from the east coast. Hot rod featured the car in an issuue a few months ago It even made the cover.

I think you guys would do beter bringing your cars to where the cameras are rather than expecting the cameras to come to you.

I think I have seen several photos of mighty Ta in hot rod Again he went to the cameras!

I've heard bantering of rules but none set except .400 pro tree. I like that OK. Tires? Weight? Street trim? etc.?? Or will it be open season? I anticipate you'll ask for the move (all good street racing banter starts this way) So I'll head that off at the pass with DOT's, Full exhaust with real Mufflers, and Pump Gas. Want to meet me on 2 out of 3??? Any takers???

Someone mentioned rules a couple times but never set the stage! Now that all interested parties are "looking" here are some of my comments meant to cause hate and discontent. Well, maybe just debate! So let's get it out there so no excuses can be made for backing out.

DOT's: OK
Real 10.5 tires

Muflers: OK, but no tailpipes.

Pump Gas: I pump mine........... from my drum to the car or jug. Gasoline only thou. No nitro or alcohol.

Suspension: I don't care, but no tube chassis.

Weight: 3400lbs with a power adder. 3200 N/A.

Working basic lights, etc equipment to get on the highway.
with an interior. Carpet, seats, Factory type dash, Meet NHRA rules for ET running. No 2 X 4's or bungie cords to hold the seats in. LOL.

Fiberglass............................ I don't care
Lexan.................................. I don't care
4link or Ladder bars................ I don't care
Power adder limits.................. I don't care

2 out of 3?

Just 2 out of 2 should do it for me.

But will give you that 3rd shot to really hurt your ego.

Man, sounds like a negotiation from PINKS! All we need now is that goofball to start the race!

"Mighty, do you agree that Dude can beat you in 2 races?" Ok then, we have a race!

Come to an agreement or I'll take both of your cars!

Another rule you should add is that the motor has to be in the stock location!

2 out of 3 meant 2 of the 3 rules proposed and really put out there as a rebuttal to basic smack because everyone wants something that fits their car only. I'm good with single heads up runs. Dude, I knew you'd balk on the pump gas, threw it in there to tweek you a little cause I like to. I tend to pick on the ones I like! As for "Hurt my ego????" Not possible.

I agree with all rules you laid out.

Tires: DOT tires have no W or true 10.5 that I know of so let's just say Any Drag Radial and any DOT with a max 30" height and 13.50 width designation. Does Langer run DOT's???

Exhaust: Mufflers and pipes past passenger seat is the normal "street" rule.

Suspension: Meet the weight break, who cares!

Street Trim: Agreed. No Wheeliebars.

Let the track make and enforce the safety rules, Let's stay out of that!

Hey Roach! Sorry, couldn't understand your post... all I could hear was Charlie Browns teacher!!!!

You know Kenny, I run into that age difference a lot it seems these days. In 1970 I already had been tapped one time.
