LOL, funny you mentioned that. The car was sitting there running while I was snapping those pics. So dad shot a quick video of it. I'll have to see if I can download it from his phone.

I was going through a bunch of pictures and found some I think he took so I'll post a couple. One is the brake lines I made when the car was still apart.

He took it out yesterday to run some errands, didn't think to grab a video so I'll do that.

Stunning. The car is Verdoro isn't it? The white top and interior give it a darker, richer appearance it seems...or maybe it's the brand, whatever, it looks great.

Yes Verdoro. I used a base/clear system on it. I've always been a sucker for white interiors, seldom seen anymore. It helps these darker colors. Sure is a lot cooler in the summer time too.

Like the white interiors myself. Had a low mile '78 Bonnie 2dr with it...pretty boring car overall but the color combo of Roman Red (almost copper) and the white interior and white landau vinyl top made it a standout. It drew a lot of attention.

We have paint now mount the tack and insulate the bottom side and mount it.

As promised, finished pics. I haven't buffed the car yet but I think he's happy as is.

He seems happy.

Thanks. It's a one off kind of custom deal. I started with an L88 air box but had to heavily modify it, turned it 180 degrees so it would mimic the scoops on top, cut the seal ring off and move it over an inch, and built the inside to house a 3" filter. Took about a week to get it just right. From there it's simple L88 stuff, drop base and screen. Dad being the comedian he is, shrunk down an air cleaner emblem small enough to fit that tiny lid, and managed to put the CI on there.

Love the stock look and non-stock power.

It turned out great, it was his idea for the L88 box, I had to question it at first but after thinking about it and him beating 0ver the head we did it. I think it is a one off lol.
